From the 1st to the 18th of June blue lines will be drawn on the walls of the room one centimetre apart.
A choir will interpret those lines as a musical score.
The lines should be 1 centimetre apart.
Each singer starts in a corner of the room.
All the singers start on the same note.
The drawing is read from bottom to top and right to left.
Each line is a note.
Each space between the lines is an interval.
The intensity of the blue line dictates the volume.
The white, undrawn wall corresponds to silence.
All “other objects” (windows, doors, woods, pipes) are equivalent to a low breathy sound.
All bluish areas represent a “hum” sound predictive of the note that will follow.
The performance is over when all the lines have been sung.
